Skip to 0 minutes and 8 seconds As we come to the end of this first week’s material, I’d like you to think back to the ideas you had about your own research. Having some real-life situations to think about, gives you something to hang the ideas on. So far we’ve had a look at how the way you see the world is going to inform your research. We’ve looked at some jargon words that describe the underlying philosophies and how that’s going to affect the research process. We’ve also given you some tools and now we need to use those tools and apply them to the ideas you had for some research that you can do in your own practice area.
Skip to 0 minutes and 43 seconds In the coming section, we’ll ask you to apply those tools to your real-life situations and then discuss them with the other learners. Next week, we’re going to look at the ethical process around research and we’re also going to look at the research process. So, how we design, and actually conduct some real-life research.
