Skip to 0 minutes and 13 secondsThis week we began our journey together seeking answers to the question-- can we live without heritage? I think you are making great progress. Looking back, we've covered a lot of ground so far. You are now familiar with key concepts relevant to heritage conservation, and have no doubt begun to appreciate the importance of heritage in all our lives. Throughout the week, we have looked at what heritage is and how to apply heritage policies and frameworks to determine heritage value. We have also explored the heritage challenges associated with societies and vision for humanity. Hopefully, you have enjoyed hearing from our international experts and joining in the discussion to gain both local and global perspectives.

Skip to 1 minute and 5 secondsBe sure to join us next week, when we continue investigating heritage issues with a focus on tourism and thinking outside the box. Next week, we'll also check out who's involved with conserving our heritage and find out ways to learn more and join in ourselves. We look forward to seeing you in Week 2 when we continue the discussion and conclude the course.

See you next week

Let’s recap briefly on what we have covered this week and look forward to what’s in store for Week 2.

Congratulations on getting this far. By now you will have a good understanding of what heritage is and have begun to conceptualise some of the ways its preservation and conservation can be approached.

Join us next week to look at heritage challenges in more detail, and start learning about the people involved in heritage conservation. Hopefully you’ll be inspired to get involved too.
