Welcome to Virtual Onboarding and Online Recruitment, a three week course from FutureLearn.
This course has been developed for business and HR professionals to help you transition your recruiting and onboarding processes online. For many organisations around the world, business operations are now being carried out online due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. For HR professionals and recruiters, this change will have a significant impact on every aspect of the hiring process, from interviews to onboarding.
We have created this course in collaboration with world leaders in the field of HR to show you how to make the best of this difficult situation and ensure your company is able to maintain and even improve its employer brand value whilst operating remotely.
During the next three weeks, we will get to know Aishah, a recent graduate who is looking for her first job during lockdown. She will share her daunting experience and hopefully we will witness her successful job application process.

For many students like Aishah, the summer after graduation is an exciting time filled with internships, job interviews and travel. But with the arrival of Coronavirus and with many employers reducing their graduate intake, students have been left with very limited choices.
