In this step you can practise in making a summary. For 3 reasons we invite you to give it a try: making summaries is something you have to practise to become good at it, it’s a text with useful information about motivation, without doing this step, you can’t do step 2.7.

We ask you to click the Mark as complete button, even if you choose to skip this step.

Instruction

Read the text “How mindsets influence motivation” and make a summary.

Try to use the Topic Comment (TC) method by making use of:

  1. Keywords
  2. Restructuring

In your TC summary, you may use symbols, graphs, tables, colours, or any other lay-out to visualise the information. Be creative, as it will be a summary that should work for you!

As opposed to previewing (which should take only several minutes), in this step (study) it is important to take your time. So try not to hurry.

Good luck!
