Centres for thought and action

In this conversation, José Joaquín Brunner, one of the directors of Grupo Faro (Ecuador), and Andrés Lalanne, Rector of CLAEH (Uruguay), discuss the vision of the Centres for Thought that they represent, conjugating knowledge and public action.

This is a perspective that is not the academic one in its classical sense, nor that of social movements with an activist vocation, but that of centres of thought (“and action”, as Brunner underscores), having a prominent position in the region and a vocation of impacting both on public policies and in the generation of an informed citizen opinion.
