Towards a new social policy architecture

In this item, Diego Sánchez-Ancochea, from the University of Oxford, and Juliana Martínez-Franzoni, from the University of Costa Rica, discuss some of the major challenges facing social policy in Latin America.

They base their discussion on their recent book The Quest for Universal Social Policy in the South: Actors, Ideas and Architectures, in which they set out an analysis of social policy types and examine how to build up a universal social policy.
