End of week 2 summary

Congratulations on completing week 2.

I hope you have found the week useful and it has helped you to think about and reflect on your clinical practice in this area. You should now understand what complex oral antimicrobial monitoring is and the clinical considerations and monitoring required, and subsequent problems that may be anticipated, when prescribing Linezolid.

If you have feedback on the week or if there are additional resources you think future learners will find helpful, please let us know. Next week we move to considering the clinical aspects of monitoring some of the other antimicrobials we prescribe in the COPAT service here in Hull, such as Co-trimoxazole, Chloramphenicol and Rifampicin. I look forward to welcoming you to week 3.
