Grammar 2 (-어/아 볼 수 있어요?)
In this lesson we learned ‘-어/아 볼 수 있어요?’.
Since the grammar construction . ‘-어/아 보다’ has the meaning of trying to do something, when asking someone else the permission to try doing it we say ‘-어/아 볼 수 있어요?’. Depending on the verb attached to it, the form slightly changes.
-어/아 볼 수 있어요?
(Attached to a verb) it becomes a request for permission to do something.
