Grammar 1 (-(으)로 주세요)

Let’s study in detail about the expressions we learned today.

‘이걸로 주세요’ means that you chose to buy this one thing. In this phrase the particle ‘-(으)로’ is used differently depending on the preceding noun.

-(으)로 주세요

(Attached to a noun) it indicates the thing one chooses.

1. With 받침 + -으로 주세요

With 받침 이 책 으로 주세요
  저 옷 으로 주세요

2. Without 받침 + -로 주세요

Without 받침 or -ㄹ 이 바지 로 주세요
  이 모자 로 주세요
  이 신발 로 주세요

You can use this expression also at a restaurant. When you want to eat Bibimbap you have to say “비빔밥으로 주세요.” or, when you want to eat Bulgogi, you can say “불고기로 주세요.”.
