Understanding expressions: The t-shirt is too big. Do you have a smaller size?

When clothes are too small you can say ‘더 큰 것 없어요?’, it’s an expression you can use to request clothes bigger than the one you had.

When the clerks hears your request they will answer ‘그럼 이걸 입어 보세요.’ while handing you another one.

Example 1)

  • A : 어떠세요?

  • B : 치마가 조금(좀) 길어요. 더 짧은 것 없어요?

  • A : 그럼 이걸 입어 보세요.

Example 2)

  • A : 어떠세요?

  • B : 티셔츠가 조금(좀) 커요. 더 작은 것 없어요?

  • A : 그럼 이걸 입어 보세요.
