Skip to 0 minutes and 0 secondsProf Ahn: Hello, I am Ahn Jung Ho and, today too, there are two students here with me to learn Korean.
Skip to 0 minutes and 10 secondsAnna: Hello, I am Anna.
Skip to 0 minutes and 12 secondsJoel: Hello, I am Joel.
Skip to 0 minutes and 15 secondsProf Ahn: Today we are studying how to buy something at a clothes store. First we are going to learn how to ask about the price. I'll start. How much is this T-shirt?
Skip to 0 minutes and 34 secondsJoel: It’s 30,000 won. Please try it on.
Skip to 0 minutes and 38 secondsProf Ahn: Yes. "Eolmayeyo?" is used when asking for the price. If you want to ask the price of a T-shirt, you should say "i tisyeocheu eolmayeyo?" and if you want to ask about the price of a skirt, it’s "i chima eolmayeyo?". When asked this question, the employees will tell you the price followed by "______ won-ieyo.". They will also tell you to try the clothes on, to see if it suits you and fits well. In that case they’ll say "hanbeon ibeoboseyo". So, shall we practice a bit more with other words? This time, you two, try to do it on your own.
Skip to 1 minute and 29 secondsAnna: How much is this skirt?
Skip to 1 minute and 31 secondsJoel: It’s 50,000 won. Please try it on.
