‘입어 볼 수 있어요?’ is an expression we can use when we want to try on some clothes we picked out.

After hearing us ask for permission the shop assistant will answer by giving or not giving us approval.

If we can try it on they will say ’네. 한번 입어 보세요.‘ or, if we cannot, they’ll say ’죄송하지만 안 됩니다‘.

Example)

  • A : 이 바지 입어 볼 수 있어요?

  • B : 네. 한번 입어 보세요.

  • A : 이 치마 입어 볼 수 있어요?

  • B : 네. 한번 입어 보세요.
