That’s why depending on the type of clothes, the expressions we use change. When you want to try on a pair of sneakers you like you’ll ask “I undonghwa-reul sineobol su isseoyo?”, and when you want to try a hat, “I moja sseobol su isseoyo?”. Now then, let’s do some practice. First, let’s do the role of the customer.

As we studied before, for clothes like t-shirts, skirts and pants we use the verb ‘입다’, while shoes and sneakers the verb is ‘신다’ and the verb ‘쓰다’ is used for hats.

That’s why depending on the type of clothes, the expressions we use change. When you want to try on a pair of sneakers you like you’ll ask ‘ 이 운동화 신어볼 수 있어요?’ and when you want to try a hat, ‘이 모자 써 볼 수 있어요?’

Now then, let’s do Role playing. you can choose a character (Customer or Clerk) try to practice one more time.

  • 손님 : 이 운동화 ____있어요?

  • 점원 : 네. 한번 신어 보세요.

2) Clerk’s part of the dialogue
