Learning Outcomes

At the end of Week 2 you should be able to :-

1. Play and improvise on “You Took Advantage of Me” in the style of stride piano.

2. Play “Satin Doll” in root position using 3 note voicing.

3. Play “Satin Doll” in root position using “um-chick” and “chick-um”.

4. Play and improvise on “Satin Doll” in root position including the intro and an outro discussed.

5. Play and imrpovise on “Satin Doll” with a playalong using locked hands for the A section of the tune.
