Here you will find a recording of my quintet “Quintessential Groove” from our album “A Good Thing” of a tune I wrote in honour of John Coltrane called “‘Trane In” which is similar to “Equinox” in style and uses a fourth based riff for the underlay.

Here is a recording of my sextet “Blue Of A Kind” from a live session recreating the album “Kinda Blue”. After the theme statement of “So What” the three horns play Miles Davis’s original 1959 solo (see above) in unison.
