At the end of Week 3 you should be able to:
- Appreciate the use but limitations of jazz lead sheets
- Play voiced sevenths (the ninth and the thirteenth shapes)
- Play voiced sevenths for a skeletal blues in two positions
- Purchase an Aebersold playalong track using iTunes
- Use Audacity to install the bass and drums of an Aebersold playalong track on both channels
- Use Audacity to change the pitch without changing the tempo, or change the tempo without changing the pitch for a playalong
- Play “Now’s The Time” in the two voiced positions with a playalong
- Improvise using the American blues scale, the 3 seventh scales and the 3 full blues scale with a playalong
