Congratulations, you have completed Learn Jazz Piano: I. Begin with the Blues. I hope that you now feel you have achieved the three end goals, namely:

  1. Demonstrate your ability to play and improvise on three blues in C, F and B flat using a playalong
  2. Demonstrate your ability to play and improvise on a jazz standard using a playalong
  3. Explore the art of improvisation using the four routes: scalic, chordal, motivic, special devices

Please consider commenting on these three end goals and any other achievements you may have gained in taking this course. Best wishes for your future jazz piano playing and I do hope you wish to continue with the sequel to this course “II. Improvising on Jazz Standards” when it becomes available. To give you an idea of the topics covered in the rest of the course I have attached a document listing them all in the penultimate step. I have also listed all the Aebersold playalong tracks I have used in the course in the final step.
