Alan is a fantastic advocate for liver transplantation and acts as a member of our Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) panel as well as a volunteer who helps counsel current patients awaiting transplantation. Here Alan discusses how he came to need a liver transplant and what it was like to be on the waiting list.
