Luckily, through their long history of providing humanitarian assistance and helping to mediate armed conflicts worldwide, the Red Cross and United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) have developed four core humanitarian principles which all healthcare workers should abide by.
