Peace explains her story from Uganda: "My husband, Tom, was close to the leader of the opposition.
I used to help him, making t-shirts for the movement... ... going on demonstrations. I even spoke at them a couple of times. We got arrested. I don't know exactly what they did to my husband. He died...I told them at the interview, at the Home Office but they didn't believe me. I don't know what to do.

How do you think the experience of disclosing information about her experience of torture, and being examined, will affect Peace?

How do you think health professionals might try to mitigate these impacts?
