Who is winning?
The ‘battle’ between cyber attackers and defenders is a very dynamic one, with new technologies (both offensive and defensive) constantly being developed and deployed.
Attackers continually come up with new ways of compromising our security and avoiding detection and the defenders have the challenge to keep up with them.
In some ways we can say the attackers have an advantage and are one step ahead, but there are domains and examples where the defence mechanisms are sufficiently robust.
Who do you think will be winning in the cyber battles in the near future? Please provide your answer and arguments in the comments section.
