Welcome to your final week on the course!

And congratulations, you have gone a long way, and your effort has paid off.

This is also the final week in the whole LearnNoW series for beginners level A1-A2 and we wanted to sum up your journey with an entire week dedicated to holidays and celebrations.
Which holidays do you celebrate in your country? And what is the most important holiday for you?

We hope you will join the conversation at the end of the week and tell us more about your traditions.

This week, we follow the Vidals during the exciting and intense period of Christmas celebrations where family traditions are at their peak.

Christmas is probably the most loved holiday in Norway. It helps Norwegians cope with the very long, dark, cold winter months and brings them comfort and warmth.

Even when it’s dark and cold outside, it’s still possible to have fun and enjoy winter activities.

If you visit Norway during winter, you’ll see people enjoying nature outdoors…in the snow.

But with no further ado…let’s start this week and celebrate!

Here, you have an overview of this week’s learning goals

What to learn

* Activities in the snow
* Celebrating a Norwegian Christmas

Main grammar

* S-verbs - synes, trives, finnes, møtes, ses
* Word order - inversion, not starting with the subject
