Most of you are probably using a computer with keyboard in either your mother tongue or English and you are certainly wondering how to type all those new and strange looking letters of Norwegian alphabet on your computer.

Well, there are different operative systems and different versions of the same operative system so it can be difficult to give you a “one fits all” solution but we have gathered few guides from the internet community that, we hope, will help you.

Usually, you should change the keyboard layout on your computer.

If you are using Mac, here you have video guides for Mac OSX, El Capitan and Sierra

As you have noticed, there are no significant differences between the different versions on Mac . Try to find your way around on your own machine starting with “settings”.

If you are using Windows, here you have the guides for Windows 7 and Windows 10

Here the differences between the older Windows version and the modern one are definitely more substantial, at least in terms of navigation but, once again, everything starts with “settings”.

If you are a computer nerd, you might use Ubuntu and Linux Kali and then you probably don’t need any guide, but we wanted to add this one and this one for Kali just for fun:
