This week you learned about quantitative methods of One Health and discovered manyfold interfaces between humans and animals.
You gained insights by exploring the benefits that are gained when human and animal health professionals work together in a systematic way. You investigated matrix models to calculate One Health effects, explored a simple animal-human disease transmission model, and discovered the fundamental principles of cross-sector economics.
In Week 3 you will learn more about how One Health works in practice by digging into different case studies like rabies control options, companion animals or food production for livelihoods.
