Owned Media is a marketing channel that you own and directly control for your online business.
Like Paid Media, Owned Media uses the internet to deliver marketing messages to your target audience; the major difference being that these messages are delivered on your business’s own internet and social media platforms.
The most common examples of Owned Media that businesses use are:
- Database marketing
- Website and microsite marketing
- Email marketing
- Branded blogs.
