Review of the week
In the first week of this open short course, we have looked at the role Organisational Behaviour (OB) plays in today’s Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry.
You have defined the term ‘organisational behaviour’, analysed the different types of organisation within the construction sector and explored the role OB plays in the AEC industry.
Next week, you will look at the main functions of organisational behaviour in construction and examine the role and value of behaviour management and strategic planning.
Can you give an example (from the news, literature or personal experience) that shows poor organisational behaviour in the construction industry?
