This course will support leaders at the every stage of their management journey. It will help you identify and address negative thought and behaviour patterns that undermine your confidence, and help you to develop your own leadership style and behaviours.

      Before we begin, let's see which is the most common feeling of imposter syndrome.

    • What is imposter syndrome?

      Imposter syndrome: an internal experience and thought process believing that you are not as competent as others perceive you to be. It can affect anyone, no matter their social status, work background, skill set or expertise.

    • Who has imposter syndrome?

      You may be surprised to find that many people you know, either famous people or through your professional and personal network, experience some or all of the feelings associated with Imposter Syndrome.

    • Causes

      In this section, you will potential causes of imposter syndrome.

  • Week 2

    Impact of imposter syndrome

    • Impacts

      Imposter syndrome can affect productivity, career, relationships and health. We will explore some of these impacts and how they affect you.

    • Self-reflection

      Once you have a deep understanding of your strengths and weaknesses, you won't have to spend so much time worrying that you're not "qualified" for a particular task, project or role.

  • Week 3

    Strategies to address imposter syndrome

    • Coping strategies

      You may never be able to conquer feelings associated with imposter syndrome completely. However you can definitely find ways to manage the symptoms.

    • Action plan

      While it is important to understand Imposter Syndrome, ultimately the difference in your professional practice can only come about through changing what you do and what you think.
