Who is the course for?

This course is open to everyone but is mainly aimed at people with long-term conditions and disabilities and their carers who want to improve their situation by gaining knowledge of personalised care.

Who will you learn with?

My name is Jo Fitzgerald and my son, Mitchell, had one of the first personal health budgets. I work at NHS England leading the Lived Experience team.

My name is Colin Royle and I previously cared for my dad. He received a personal health budget in 2009 which transformed his life. I now work for NHS England.

As part of NHS England and NHS Improvement, the Personalised Care Group is responsible for ensuring that personalised care becomes ‘business as usual’ across the health and care system.
