Finally, we want to think about the practical and ethical considerations for developing personalised medicine.

The Human Genome has been the focus of intensive research initiatives since genome mapping began in earnest in 1990.

In this Week we will review some of the findings from the Human Genome-mapping Project (HGP), and how these can be applied to pharmacogenetics and stratified medicine.

Stratified and precision medicine remains the ultimate goal for many of the scientists who have led human genome mapping and sequencing projects.
