Step Three: Maintaining a GPS of tracking & feedback
Much like a navigation system for a car, guidance is needed in precepting students so that they are constantly progressing on track. Feedback plays a critical role in guiding students especially if they are showing difficulties in progressing.
Step Four: Uphold a clear set of rules, boundaries & expectations.
Provide rules and standards at the beginning. This will set expectations in which students must attempt to achieve. Learning to become professionals is the critical step in progressing beyond a student. It is important to guide with patience and compassion.
