Welcome to week 2

Last week you learned about the classical approaches of Jaspers and Heidegger. This week we will introduce you to more contemporary views about how technologies shape relations between humans and the world.

The key concept of “mediation” provides a framework for understanding the role of technologies in this relation. You will be challenged to analyse how technologies can shape different types of relationship between human beings and the world.
