Continuing your professional development

Thank you for joining us on this course. We hope you have found it interesting and it has given you information and ideas that will help you in your own teaching practice. We also hope you have enjoyed working with other learners, sharing knowledge and opinions. On this step you will:

  • Find out how to get formal recognition for your professional development
  • Join courses that complement or extend this course
  • Discover how to support colleagues in their professional development

Recognition from STEM Learning

If you have successfully completed the course and earned a FutureLearn certificate (either through Upgrading, an Unlimited subscription, of if you are based in the UK and joined via a STEM Learning residential course voucher or CPD Pathway), you can get recognition from STEM Learning for your professional development on this course.

With STEM Certificates you get a place to present your CPD with STEM Learning digital badges, showing the outcomes of courses and time spent on your professional development. Simply send a digital copy of your FutureLearn certificate as proof of completion to awards@stem.org.uk. You will need a free STEM Learning account before you submit proof of completion. We can only accept FutureLearn certificates as proof of completion.

Next steps for you

We hope you’ve enjoyed the STEM Learning approach to online professional development you’ve experienced in this course. In the UK we provide courses through local partners in your area, a national centre in York, remote CPD sessions to join wherever you are and further online CPD courses.
