Course summary from Chris & Dylan and next steps

Summing Up From Chris & Dylan and how to plan your next CPD as a teacher.

Thank you for joining us on this course. We hope you have found it interesting and it has given you information and ideas that will help you in your own teaching practice. We also hope you have enjoyed working with other learners, sharing knowledge and opinions.

In this short video Chris and Dylan bid you farewell and encourage you to persist in planning to support the learning of all your students, use assessment opportunities to increase your inference and responsiveness in the classroom to support all learners.

As Chris concludes:

Research shows that it’s high-quality, formative assessment like the ideas we have been exploring and seen exemplified by our teachers that helps improve students’ learning and progress. None of this is quick to do, and all of it takes planning, practice and critical reflection from us as educators. However, it really is worth persevering with.
