During week two you've explored pre teaching and went away to plan and teach your first pre teach sessions and then observe the focus learners in the lessons that followed making a note of your reflections in your journal. This week we will be exploring assigning competence in depth and preparing you to use this strategy with your focus learners. So first let's think about what you notice from your observations and reflect on the following questions in your journal. Did the learners draw on their experiences from the pre teach session in the lesson at all? Did this have an impact on their participation in the class lesson?
