Skip to 0 minutes and 18 seconds Well Claire, in this open course we have looked at the consultation models and we have also looked at the head-to-toe assessment, in its entirety. Do you think our students might be feeling a bit overwhelmed? I do, yeah, there’s a lot to take in there, particularly the thorough head to toe examination. But what we do then in the following weeks is, we’re going to break down each system so that students will be looking at the respiratory system more in isolation and then having a look at , for example, the abdominal system and then go onto look at the musculoskeletal or the neurological system.

Skip to 0 minutes and 58 seconds So I think when we break it down into smaller chunks, it’s a lot more manageable and they can deal with smaller bits of information and then put it all together. It was good meeting the Jones family for the first time in this short course, and for those who are carrying on to do the ten weeks with us, we will go into their health history in a little bit more detail. Yeah, they get to meet a really lovely family. Yes. And for the next short course for those who are following on, we are going to be going into respiratory and paediatrics in a great deal more detail. That’s right.

Skip to 1 minute and 34 seconds So, we’ll also do in those weeks, is we will have a look at some tips and techniques about how you get a child to comply with a clinical examination and also we do a lot more about a detailed thorough examination of the respiratory system and some tips and techniques around that. That’s good. Leading up then to the final diagnosis. So that brings us to the end of our short course, and thank you Nicky for being with us. And thank you, Claire. And thank you for joining us for our Introduction to the Physical Health Assessment course. Your contributions to our discussions have been enriching and we have been delighted to have you with us.

Skip to 2 minutes and 9 seconds Yes, can I say it’s been a great experience interacting with you all. And for those of you who are joining us for the full principles of physical health assessment program, we look forward to seeing you next week for respiratory assessment.
