Explore the recovery phase from a communities perspective

In this short course, we’ll look at the impact of disasters on various communities and how recovery needs can change over time.

You’ll have the opportunity to explore the role of volunteer groups and develop an understanding of the difference between spontaneous volunteers and those who want to help.

You’ll also have the chance to gain an understanding of post-disaster reconstruction in the recovery phase and the importance of memorialising.
