Explore the meaning of adaptive resilience in context of change and uncertainty

Resilience is not just what we do, it’s the way that we do it.

This short course explores the meaning of resilience in a community context. During the course, you’ll have a chance to look at resilience as a complex adaptive system, a dynamic state and a way of working.

You’ll also have the opportunity to explore the relationship between poverty, vulnerability, exposure to multiple hazards, and the relationship with adaptive capacity.

You’ll also have to chance to learn about how practitioners can facilitate adaptive resilience and how policy and strategy can facilitate societal transformation.
