Setting yourself up for the rest of the course

Over the next few weeks we’ll be introducing you to some research from the science of learning and asking you to consider how these ideas might fit in with your existing practice.

Throughout we will encourage you to critically evaluate the practical application of this research in the classroom, and ask whether the evidence is sufficient to justify changing your practice.

In the next steps you’ll see how teachers are discussing using scientific evidence as part of their reflective practice. We hope you too will go along this journey. Use the reflection grid introduced in step 1.2 to help you with this process.
