Skip to 0 minutes and 3 secondsHello and welcome back for the second week of our Introduction to Screenwriting. We hope that you enjoyed the first week of the course and were able to apply some of the material and the tasks that we set. Last week we concentrated on a discussion of dramatic form and broad considerations of story and story structure. For this week we'll take a closer look at the process of writing the script. We'll look at the format expected in a professional script, consider the process of writing a scene and developing characters, and learn an approach to the writing workflow that will put us in a good position to finish a complete first draft. Let's get started!

Welcome to Week 2

Michael welcomes you back for Week 2 and offers a brief overview of the week.

Let’s get started.
