What's next?

We hope you’ve enjoyed Week 2 of this course. You can check your progress on the course so far.

In Week 3 you will be looking at how the architecture of an application impacts upon its security, and some of the security mechanisms provided by Android to help secure your application.

We will be looking at Android permissions, and how these can be used to secure your application and its data.

We will also take a detailed look at Interprocess Communication (IPC) in Android, and how permissions can be used to control access to the different types of components (Activities, Services, Content Providers, and Broadcast Receivers) that make up your application.

We do hope that you can join us!

Gary, Toby and Zeyad
