Sharing economy's impact
The sharing economy is gradually changing the way we demand and access goods and services. With its revenue expected to increase more than 2000% by 2025, the sharing economy presents great promise and trouble for businesses.
In our final week, we will consider the implications of the sharing economy for the way we consume goods and services and its impact on the environment. We will also consider the implications of the sharing economy for key stakeholders such as participants, regulators, existing and new businesses. Businesses using the traditional mode of exchange based on ownership face the stiffest competition from the model of access used by businesses in the sharing economy. We will therefore pay particular attention to how they can respond to this marketing trend.
For those looking to start their own business and considering using the sharing economy model we also provide some guidelines, including the opportunity of using coworking spaces.
