Come and meet us
Throughout the year, there are many opportunities for members of the public to come and meet the Shipwrecks and Submerged Worlds Team. The conferences, courses and workshops listed below are just some of the events that team members will be contributing to.
Hands-On Humanities Day is a free-to-attend, family day full of interactive exhibits, workshops and talks. If you’ve ever wanted to know what it’s like to be an archaeologist or have wondered what Queen Elizabeth I’s perfume smelt like, this is the festival for you. This event will take place on the University of Southampton’s Avenue Campus (SO17 1BF).

The sixth annual lecture of the Honor Frost Foundation will be delivered by Dr Lucy Blue.

Visit the Archaeology village and take part in a variety of hands on activities. (Suitable for all ages).

Archaeology Activity Day (July 2018 - TBC)
The University of Southampton will be contributing to Festival of British Archaeology 2018. The festival takes place in July, so an Archaeology Activity Day will take place during that period at the University of Southampton. There will plenty of opportunities for hands-on experience via free interactive workshops that will be open to people of all ages.
