Some Next Steps

There are some practical next steps to ending slavery.

In their 2008 book Modern Slavery, Kevin Bales and Zoe Trodd suggested actions for the UN, governments, non-profits, communities, industries, consumers and individuals. Eight years later, this course has updated those ideas and brainstormed new possibilities. As you read the book’s final chapter, which is in the downloads section of this page, below, think about any additional strategies that might be useful for the movement over the next decade, particularly for your communities and for yourselves.

After reading the chapter, share in the comments any of its ideas for action that still seem useful now, and also share any new ideas of your own.
