Welcome to Week 2

Are you ready to look at the diverse world of social enterprise?

We have already evaluated social enterprise in the context of global and local problems and explored social enterprise and its relation to sustainable development. This week we are going to look at what social enterprise is, learn about the types of social enterprises, identify different social enterprise models and understand what exactly social impact means.

Before we get started, we offer a special opportunity for you to reflect on your own personality while helping us increase our knowledge of what personality traits, attitudes and behaviours drive social entrepreneurs.

Survey: Help Discover the Social Entrepreneur Personality

As an optional part of this course, we invite you to participate in a survey on social entrepreneur traits. Your anonymous responses will contribute to a research project being conducted by the course instructors and other researchers from O.P. Jindal Global University, including Dr Shilpi Sharma (Chartered Psychologist, British Psychological Society). Your feedback will be used for research purposes only.

The survey should not take more than 8-10 minutes of your time. We also offer those who complete the survey an opportunity to preview an unpublished literature review summarizing results of over 100 empirical research studies on entrepreneurial personalities over a period of three decades. You will receive a link to view the pdf at the end of your survey responses.
