Below are links to blogposts by five University of Southampton Alumni. These posts reflect in various ways on the relationship between contemporary recruitment priorities and candidates’ development of professional digital profiles.

Emma Lester, a graduate from 2011 in Sociology from the University of Southampton, now working as an Education and Student Experience Advisor.

Farahnoosh Berahman is a Sales Manager at Infobip, a global telecommunications specialist providing a mobile services cloud for enterprises and mobile operators. She earned an MSc in Human Resource Management at the University of Southampton and became interested in social media while doing research for her master’s dissertation on Social Media Recruitment.

The following students studied a Flexible Learning interdisciplinary module called ‘Living and Working on the Web’ (#UOSM2008). Building their own professional digital profiles and blogging about the experience is a key aspect of this course.
