Aligning your initiatives with the SDGs

Consider the sport and development activity you are currently working on or planning, as identified in step 1.5.

Activity

Use the framework below to reflect on the specific SDG targets you wish to align this initiative to. Each SDG has a series of specific targets – it isn’t possible for an initiative to prioritise all of them, so just choose one primary and one or two secondary targets to help keep your initiative manageable.

This activity is designed to provide a starting point for reflection and is encouraged for all sport and development initiatives you may undertake in the future. It’s a good habit to get into before you begin planning project design.
