Model fitting and correspondence

In this video Marcel Lüthi explains how the classical Iterative Closest Point (ICP) algorithm can be used.

In this video, we will discuss how to analyse a given shape using the shape model. To this end, we introduce a simple algorithm called the Iterative Closest Point (ICP) algorithm.

We will see how we can include the shape model as prior knowledge to obtain a solution that is in correspondence with the original model, and thus can be analyzed using the model.
