Good practices @ University of Groningen

Curious how active learning is actually facilitated in practice? Find out by watching these shots of Jon teaching a small group teaching session.

Jon is teaching a small group on Management Science. During his session, he lets his students engage, in small groups, with an online quiz. Jon has prepared the quiz to review last week’s material. Another advantage of this use of a quiz is that students enter a competition with fellow students to master the material, and they have to explain their understanding of it when the group is in disagreement.
