Summary of this week

You’ve reached the end of week 2 of our course on Supply Chain Innovation. We covered quite a lot this week so do feel free to go back through any Steps you might need to refresh yourself on.

We began by looking at examples of supply chain innovation by means of customization and servitization. We introduced you to measuring supply chain performance. Also in this week you familiarized yourself with the assessment of sustainability through a framework. You’ve seen a practical case by Unilever.

We ended this week with a discussion on your ideas for innovation of supply chains.

Week 3 will cover the role of information technology in supply chains. This role is getting larger and larger in recent years as we see that almost every modern device that we use is connected to the internet.
