It has become clear that the supply chain management and logistics problem plays an even bigger role in these areas. Optimal organisation of the construction chain can contribute significantly to reducing inner city bottlenecks. It became also clear to the parties involved are you looking for all kinds of innovative solutions for improved cooperation between the parties and for improving logistical processes. In this activity you would like to go deeper into some innovative approaches that we currently encounter in the construction sector.

Second, we’ll address the application of modular constriction systems. Finally, we will discuss the use of building Information models. In this activity we give an impression of these innovative approaches. We also show what consequences these approaches have on the functioning of the construction supply chain.
